Secret 7"
My submission to Secret 7” 2025. I chose to create a cover artwork for the song ‘Beautiful People’ by Jessie Ware. The design was selected to be exhibited and auctioned alongside 699 other entries in NOW Gallery, London. Each anonymous design interprets one of seven chosen tracks, celebrating individuality, creativity, and the power of music. The auction raises funds for War Child, a charity dedicated to supporting children affected by conflict around the world.
The Design
The design is inspired by the mixed emotions conveyed in the lyrics and seeks to explore this through the concept of the Yin Yang. It emphasizes the interconnectedness of joy and sorrow, happiness and heartbreak, whilst mirroring the overarching theme of dance and nightlife within the song.
