Leopard

Magazine

The Leopard Magazine was a popular editorial that captured life in the Northeast, running from the 1970’s onwards. The original magazine featured a rich mix of articles on local heritage, personal stories, and cultural insight from Aberdeen and the surrounding area. Despite its engaging content, the magazines dated design has contributed to its decline in relevance, particularly among younger readers.

The design

Within this project I sought to reimagine the printed publications visual identity while respecting its roots. The result blends retro inspired layouts with contemporary illustration, creating a vibrant, appealing style that reconnects the publication with a new generation whilst honouring the spirit of its past.
